Welcome to Ripon Rugby Union Football Club
Welcome to the 2008 – 2009 rugby season at Ripon, which will see the club play in the Yorkshire 2 Rugby Union League again, having just survived the drop last season.
We've been around as a rugby club since 1886 and are a genuine grassroots community club with an amateur ethos delivered in as professional a way as we can.
We cater for the young and old alike, whether it be playing, volunteering, administering or just taking part in the crack. So there's sure to be a place for you.
We're essentially a family-friendly place with no airs and graces, run for the benefit of those in the community who enjoy rugby and all that goes with it. We are a "broad church" with wide membership from felons to the judiciary, from humble workers to company CEO's, from the unskilled labourer to the high flying executive; we have them all and welcome this diversity. Ripon Rugby Club is a place where informality and social integration is encouraged.
I look forward to welcoming members and visitors to sample our hospitality.
